Charlotte Morrison is a ceramicist who's been working for over 14 years from her home in the Yorkshire Dales. She creates hand built ceramics using porcelain & stoneware clays, to form both functional & decorative items. 

Charlotte finds inspiration for her work from a combination of the items she finds and collects as well as the natural environment around her. Charlotte is a keen walker and gardener which imbues her with the desire to transfer what she sees and collects from these experiences into designs to decorate her ceramics.

The Field Collection with its geometric quality use form and symbolically inspired decoration to echo ancient roads, places and the surrounding Yorkshire landscape. 

The Meadow collection originated from Charlotte’s single specimen meadow vases, she wanted to create a continuous grass pattern around the forms, to embody the feeling of a meadow. She creates the decoration by hand-painted on the design using a type of slip trailer with underglazes.
