Art Medium: Jewellery

Education: Trained in silversmithing and jewellery making locally in the Lake District.

Tessa is a jeweller living and working in Cumbria. She creates silver and mixed metal jewellery inspired by the landscapes and natural textures of the Lake District. Each piece is carefully hand worked, shaped and textured to capture something of the rugged beauty of her surroundings.

As well as developing her own collections, Tessa also runs jewellery workshops where she shares her skills with others, guiding people through the process of making their own silver rings, pendants and textured pieces. Her practice combines craftsmanship with a sense of place, inviting the wearer to carry a connection to the fells and valleys.
